Chrome Extension Privacy Notice

This Chrome Extension Privacy Notice ("Extension Privacy Notice") describes how Orcaworks Inc. ("Orcaworks," "we," "us," or "our") accesses, uses, processes, and protects information in connection with the Orcaworks Chrome Extension ("Extension").

This Extension Privacy Notice supplements the Orcaworks Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy continues to apply to Orcaworks' overall processing of Personal Information.

1. Purpose of the Extension

The Extension enables authorized users to access Orcaworks functionality through their browser and interact with webpages, business applications, and information available to them as part of customer-authorized workflows.

2. Information the Extension May Access

Depending on the functionality being used and the customer's configuration, the Extension may access:

• Information displayed on webpages the user is authorized to access;
• Page content necessary to perform an authorized workflow;
• User-selected text or information;
• Website URLs or page context;
• Information entered into or retrieved from authorized business applications;
• Authentication or session information necessary to maintain authorized access; and
• Technical information necessary to operate and secure the Extension.

Access to information depends upon the functionality requested by the user and permissions granted to the Extension.

3. How Extension Information Is Used

Information accessed through the Extension may be used to:

• Provide requested Extension functionality;
• Execute customer-authorized workflows and automations;
• Interact with authorized business applications;
• Process, extract, summarize, organize, or transmit information as directed through authorized workflows;
• Provide AI-enabled functionality;
• Authenticate users and maintain authorized sessions;
• Maintain security;
• Diagnose technical problems;
• Prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access; and
• Maintain and improve authorized Extension functionality.

Orcaworks does not use Chrome Extension permissions for purposes unrelated to providing, securing, maintaining, or improving authorized functionality.

4. Chrome Permissions

The Extension requests permissions reasonably necessary to provide its stated functionality.

The permissions required may depend upon the features made available by Orcaworks and the customer's configuration.

Orcaworks intends to limit use of Chrome permissions to purposes associated with the Extension's disclosed and authorized functionality.

5. Artificial Intelligence Processing

Information accessed through the Extension may be processed through Orcaworks' artificial intelligence and automation technologies when necessary to perform customer-authorized functionality.

AI functionality may be used to extract, summarize, classify, organize, generate, recommend, or otherwise process information in connection with an authorized workflow.

AI-generated results may contain inaccuracies or omissions. Customers and authorized users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and automated actions where appropriate.

6. Disclosure and Service Providers

Information processed through the Extension may be disclosed to service providers and technology providers supporting Orcaworks' infrastructure, AI functionality, security, communications, and related operations, where reasonably necessary to provide authorized functionality.

Information may also be transmitted to third-party applications or integrations when authorized by the customer or user as part of a requested workflow.

Service providers processing information on Orcaworks' behalf are expected to process it for authorized purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

7. Sale and Advertising

Orcaworks does not sell Personal Information accessed through the Extension for monetary consideration.

Orcaworks does not use information obtained through Chrome Extension permissions for targeted advertising.

8. Google and Chrome Web Store Requirements

Orcaworks' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with applicable Google API Services User Data requirements and the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

Information obtained through Extension permissions will be used in accordance with the Extension's disclosed functionality and applicable Chrome Web Store requirements.

9. Security

Orcaworks maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Extension against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, loss, or misuse.

No technology or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Retention

Information processed through the Extension is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide authorized Services, satisfy customer instructions and contractual requirements, maintain security and audit records, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims.

Specific retention periods may depend upon customer configuration, workflow requirements, contractual obligations, and the nature of the information.

11. Customer-Controlled Information

When Orcaworks processes information through the Extension on behalf of a business customer, that customer may determine the purposes and means of processing while Orcaworks acts as a service provider, processor, or similar role.

Individuals whose information is processed through a customer's use of the Extension may need to contact that customer to exercise applicable privacy rights.

12. User Controls

Users may stop using the Extension or uninstall it through their browser.

Removal of the Extension does not necessarily delete information previously processed or retained through the Orcaworks Services. Applicable deletion and retention practices are described in the Orcaworks Privacy Policy and relevant customer agreements.

13. Relationship to the Orcaworks Privacy Policy

This Extension Privacy Notice supplements the Orcaworks Privacy Policy.

The Orcaworks Privacy Policy governs Orcaworks' broader handling of Personal Information, including privacy rights, international processing, legal disclosures, and general data practices.

If this Extension Privacy Notice provides more specific information concerning processing through the Extension, this Extension Privacy Notice applies to that Extension-specific processing.

14. Changes to This Notice

Orcaworks may update this Extension Privacy Notice to reflect changes to the Extension, permissions, technology, practices, or legal requirements.

The "Last Updated" date will identify the most recent revision.
